JOIN THE MOVEMENT

ART AFRICA MIAMI has joined the movement with our interactive ForFreedoms  poster installation.  For the activist in you, this is your time to come out & write your cause on your own poster.  Be a part of history!

ART AFRICA MIAMI 2016 PLAYLIST

We have thoughtfully selected albums that reflect this year's theme, AFROTOPIA.  The compilation of these artists, both old and new, span decades and generations of songs whose lyrics glaringly highlight the more things change, the more they remain the same.

Titled 'REDEMPTION", the 2016 official Art Africa Miami Playlist includes the critically acclaimed jazz protest album by Samora Pinderhughes titled "The Transformation Suite", Solange Knowles' "A Seat At The Table" and multiple selections from none other than Mr. Bob Marley including his iconic "Legend" and "Exodus" albums.

Our playlists will be on constant rotation in our gallery. Join the movement...feel the vibes!

YOUTH INTERACTIVE ART LAB

This year, Miami lost one of its dearest street artists - TMNKakaNOBODY.  He was not only our friend but an unrelenting supporter of the youth of our community.  We invite families to come out and enjoy the debut of our first YOUTH INTERACTIVE ART LAB on the 2nd floor of our gallery in dedication to the memory of our friend in art and community, TMNKakaNOBODY.

13th - Let's Watch It Together

Join us for a family gathering to watch Ava Duvernay's highly acclaimed documentary, 13th , which draws a direct line from slavery to America's mass incarceration. See our Schedule for day and time. [Complimentary Snacks Will Be Served.]
